12A - Figuring Out Buyer Behavior No.1

For the segment I chose people within the age gap of 18 to 25. I think it is important to speak to this age group because they are young and vulnerable, and need to understand the value of their vote. I would want to urge the students to get out and vote and express their concerns for gun violence. They are the future and if they rally together the can force for change.

  • Julia Cordover: Julia is a sophomore at University of Florida and an alumni of Marjory Stoneman Douglass. She is an advocate for stronger gun laws and ensuring children safety in schools. From first hand experience, she understands what it is like to fear you won't make it home from school. She believes a group fighting Legislation to pass stronger gun laws is vital to the safety and moral of the  the United States.

  • Grace Lear: Grace is a sophomore at the University of Florida and wants to have a voice in the advocation for amending gun laws. She knows nothing about gun safety and feels all schools should implement a gun safety course, or an online course informing students of procedures in the case of a school shooting.

  • Luke Gidus: Luke is a sophomore at the University of Florida who doesn't understand why our government has not done more to protect students in schools. It seems the tv shows shootings almost everyday, particularly during the school year. He feels strongly that University of Florida students, and students everywhere shouldn't fear going to school everyday.

  1. Hi Lexington! I enjoyed reading who you think would best fit for your idea. I also believe that the age group you have chosen is the most practical. Young adults in that age range need to understand why their votes are so important and what they believe they should be voting for. I believe that it is important to have gun laws and regulations as well. Overall you did a great job with your age range and interviews.

  2. Hey Lexington, great job with this post. You did some great research and interviews and seem to have found out a lot about who would be interested in your service. Picking a segment helps narrow those results, and seems to have helped you find the target market for your business idea. Overall great job with this post, keep it up!

  3. Hey Lexington, I think you conveyed all you important information in this post in a very concise manner. This made it very easy to follow and made reading this straight to the point. Your target audience seems very practical for this problem, and though they were all sophomores, they were diverse in their different levels of background knowledge regarding gun-control. So, awesome job with these interviews!

  4. Hey Lexington, thanks again for pursuing entrepreneurship on such a touch subject. These interviews definitely reflect the understanding you had with the potential users of your product but i wasn't able to find a clear conclusion in this post. That would be my main critique since this conclusion will help you in taking the knowledge you acquired from these interviews and applying it to your idea. Great Job so far!
