1) Tenaciousness is a competency. What are
the behaviors that you have used (or developed) to keep up with the
requirements of this course?
I
taught myself to check Canvas at least once a day and to always work ahead so
that I am never behind with my school work.
2)
Tenaciousness is also about attitude. Talk about a moment or
two when you felt like "giving up." What pulled you through? Do you
feel like you've developed a tenacious attitude during the past two months?
What experience or experiences most contributed to this?
There was one week when I accidentally turned in the wrong URL
and I ended up getting no credit for the
assignment. I didn’t give up because I knew that I had so many more assignments
that I had left to do and could make sure I did my very best on it.
3)
Three tips. What are three tips you would offer next
semester's student about (1) fostering the skills that support tenacity and (2)
developing the 'tenacious mindset'
1- Work ahead
2- Watch the lectures
3- Put effort into every
assignment that you have to complete
Hi Lexington, you did a great job for your halfway assignment. I think great advice is to also check canvas daily and get ahead on your work. Also, great job for not giving up after submitting the wrong link, I forgot to do assignment as well in this class and it taught me to get ahead on your work so you don’t fall behind. Great job
ReplyDeleteHey Lexington, thanks for this great reflection. I loved the personal experience of missing an assignment by entering the wrong URL, an unfortunate turn of events that many of us have been on the wrong side of. Your description of your own tenacity in not giving up on this course in spite of this failure mirrors the resolve of many of the entrepreneurs we learned about this past week. Hopefully this story can inspire future entrepreneurs just like us!
